When most people think of karaoke, food probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But at Solo Karaoke in Burnaby, you don’t just get a night full of music—you also get a full dining experience that pairs perfectly with singing the night away.
🍗 Taiwanese Appetizers Worth Sharing

We started off with Deep Fried Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken and Taiwanese Kimchi Fried Tofu—both packed with flavour and perfect for snacking in between songs. Solo Karaoke offers plenty of other appetizers too, but the best part is that you can also go beyond bar snacks and actually enjoy a full meal, including Traditional Taiwanese Marinated Pork Rice 🍚 and even Spicy Beef Shank Dry Noodles 🍜
🍹 Mocktails & Teas to Keep You Singing
Of course, no karaoke night is complete without drinks. Solo recently launched a special mocktail menu, featuring:
- Strawberry Butterfly Fizz 🍓🦋
- Rose Yuzu Fizz 🌹🍊
- Zesty Grape Tea 🍇

Our favourite was the grape tea—refreshing, lightly sweet, and perfect for keeping your voice in shape between songs.
Beyond mocktails, Solo has something for everyone. From icy slushes to cozy hot teas, you’ll find drinks to match your vibe. We ordered the Chrysanthemum Longan Honey Tea, Mango Slush, Taro Green Milk Tea, and Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea. The hot tea especially hit the spot after hours of singing.
Karaoke Vibes 🎶✨
Food aside, the karaoke experience itself was just as impressive. The atmosphere is moody and immersive, perfect for setting the stage. Their song selection is huge, and thanks to their YouTube app integration, you can even sing newer tracks that aren’t on traditional karaoke machines yet.
And we have to mention the service—the staff were incredibly attentive, offering recommendations and making sure our table had everything we needed to keep the night going.
Final Verdict
👉 Whether you’re here for the Taiwanese comfort food, the creative mocktails, or just to sing your heart out, Solo Karaoke in Burnaby is definitely more than just a place to sing—it’s a full night out.
