If you were planning on grabbing a quick bowl of beef noodles at Aberdeen this week, you might have to pivot. Haoyijia, located right beside the legendary Luca (seriously, that beef khafta is hard to beat), has quietly shuttered.
There was no big farewell post or “thank you” message on social media—mostly because, let’s be real, they didn’t have much of a social media presence to begin with. In 2026, if you aren’t on instagram, do you even exist?
The Signs are All There
While there’s no official “closed” sign on the stall yet, the digital footprint tells the real story. Their website domain is no longer connected and their domain is currently up for sale. Usually, when the URL goes to the highest bidder, the beef buns aren’t coming back.

To be fair, Haoyijia struggled to win over the tough Richmond food court crowd. They sat at a 3.2-star average on Google with only 46 reviews. In a food court where you’re competing with some of the best stalls in the city, that’s a tough hill to climb. Their menu was almost entirely beef-focused—think braised beef over rice, beef noodles, and those signature beef buns—but it seems it wasn’t enough to keep the lights on.

The Aberdeen “Refresh” Continues
This closure is just another addition to the massive wave of changes we’ve seen at Aberdeen recently. In just the past month, we’ve seen the high-profile exits of Garaku Soup Curry and Meiten, leaving some pretty big holes in the mall’s dining directory.
It’s a bit bittersweet to see these spots go, but on the bright side, it makes room for fresh blood (like the upcoming Taoke!) to move in and shake things up.
What do you want to see take over the old Haoyijia stall? A new noodle spot or something totally different? Head over to our Instagram to join the conversation and let us know! 🤳🥢
