The Richmond food scene is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Just when you think a block is “full,” another row of spots pops up to prove us wrong.

The newest hub to watch is the Paramount building (right across from Richmond Centre). It’s quickly turning into a “mini foodie hall” that’s perfect for those days when you can’t decide what you’re craving.

A New Face in the Paramount

We spotted some new signage at 6386 No. 3 Road! Pho 19 is currently setting up shop behind covered windows. While we don’t have a menu or an official opening date just yet, its location is what makes it interesting.

Pho 19 Richmond

It’s joining what is essentially a “mini foodie hall” inside the Paramount building. Pho 19 will be sitting alongside:

  • Lao Shan Dong Homemade Noodle House: The Taiwanese beef noodle staple.
  • Oishinoya: Known for their Japanese beef bowls (Gyudon).
  • Pokey Okey: The latest addition to the cluster.

The Anderson Road Shuffle

The addition of Pokey Okey to the Paramount is actually part of a bigger neighbourhood shakeup. Earlier this year, they relocated their shop from 8060 Anderson Road to this new No. 3 Road hub.

If you’re wondering what’s happening to their old Anderson Road unit, it’s already been claimed! Daydreamers by Cafe 33 is currently taking over the space. We’ve been following the owner Celeste’s journey on her YouTube channel—she’s transforming it into a Vietnamese coffee and gelato shop. You can check out our full post on Daydreamers right here if you want to see the “before and after” of that renovation.

It’s exciting to see this much variety packed into a single building. Pho 19 will be joining several other highly anticipated Richmond openings this season, including Happy Lamb Hotpot on Alexandra Road and Taoke at Aberdeen Centre.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the progress of Pho 19, so stay tuned for an official opening date! In the meantime, follow us on Instagram @bitebuddyeats for the latest food news.
